Faith and doubt are not enemies. Faith can live, even grow, in the presence of, and even occasionally be helped by, doubt. In this episode, we meet two disciples wallowing in doubt because they both had lost a friend. But then something startling happened and their faith was restored because they discovered how Christ would always be close to them in their suffering.
